Sea Wolf Fishing Update
10-30-2019
Joe Hobbs
The last half of October has been a slow one for us since we were taking days off to work on crab gear and prepping the boat for our crab combo season. Here’s a break down for the last half of the month aboard the Sea Wolf, the rockfishing has been outstanding both at the islands and along the coast but the lingcod bite has been scattered.
Oct 18, 280 rockfish and 4 lingcod
Oct 19, 190 rockfish and 1 lingcod
Oct 20, 240 rockfish and 25 lingcod
Oct 25, 250 rockfish and 14 lingcod
Oct 26, 200 rockfish and 15 lingcod
Oct 27, 180 rockfish and 32 lingcod
Oct 28, 220 rockfish and 22 lingcod
Oct 29, 200 rockfish and 25 lingcod
We’ll be dumping our crab pots at midnight Friday night and starting our combo season on Saturday the 2nd. Depending on the crab numbers through December, we may book a few rockfish/lingcod trips before the end of the year - I’ll post the dates of those trips as we schedule them.
