Fishing the Farallon Islands
8-10-2019
Joe Hobbs
We’ve had absolutely beautiful weather over the past couple days fishing the Farallon Islands aboard the Sea Wolf. The rockfishing was amazing with jumbo yellowtail and blue rockfish and a few vermillion mixed in. With no wind and very little current, the lingcod bite slowed down. On Friday, we finished up with 290 rockfish and 31 lingcod for our 29 anglers and today our tally was 300 rockfish, 1 wolf eel and 10 lingcod for our 30 anglers.
