Lots of Rockfish Aroung the Island
6-6-2019
Joe Hobbs
The lingcod fishing has been tough due to the amount of rockfish at the islands. If you stop the boat they will find you, we’ve been stopping on blank screens just to get our gear to the bottom at the hopes for a lingcod and within a couple minutes we’ll have fish from 20 feet to the bottom. It’s been fun fishing the rockfish with trout gear but you can only do that for so long. The forecast is showing a change in weather for the better starting Sunday with calm seas for at least a week.
The Sea Wolf runs trips out of Fish Emeryville in Emeryville, CA. If you would like make a reservation you can BOOK ONLINE or you can call (510) 652-3403.
