The Sea Wolf has had quite a week with good weather and excellent fishing. The rockfish bite has been off the hook with jumbo yellowtail and vermilion rockfish, the lingcod bite has been slower with the post spawn fish moving around. We even had a marriage proposal on board on our way in yesterday under the Golden Gate Bridge - congrats to Josue and Justina!!
Saturday April 27th we had 32 anglers and finished up with 320 rockfish and 27 lingcod.
Sunday April 28th our day finished up with 280 rockfish and 18 lingcod for our 28 anglers.
Thursday, May 2 we finished our day with 290 rockfish for our 29 anglers with tough weather conditions.
Friday May 3 the weather condition continued and we finished our day with 310 rockfish and 11 lingcod for our 31 anglers.
Today Saturday May 4th, the ocean calmed out wonderfully with flat calm seas and hardly a breeze. We ended our day with 300 rockfish and 7 lingcod for our 30 anglers.
The forecast for the next week is calling for excellent offshore weather. We’ve got plenty of room during the week so give Fish Emeryville or check out our website at www.seawolfsporfishing.com.
