Saturday November 11th we are offering all Veteran’s a Discount on boat rentals

Catfish, Crappie and Bass and Trout are biting.  Chicken Liver, Anchovies or night-crawlers are your best bet for catfish.  Crappie will bite on a red-worm, crappie nibble or an atomic teaser.  Bass use a Berkeley plastic worm with a Gamakastu off-set shank hook best colors are watermelon candy and black oil.  Power- bait and night crawlers are best for trout.

Lake Conditions

Lake Level       308.2

Surface Temp between 62 and 64 degrees

Fish Plant:  The Department of Fish and Wildlife planted 1,000 lbs of trout at the boat launch on November 1st.

Park Information

Carter Ma of San Francisco caught a trout weighing 1.05 lbs using red worms on 10-29-17.

Chris Carter of San Ramon caught some trout using power bait the weight of the stringer 10.54 lbs.  The biggest trout weighed 4.66 lbs on 11-2-17.

Matt Anderson of Layfette caught 4 trout using chartreuse power bait on 11-3-17.

Mike Antis of Pacifica caught 4 trout using power eggs and chartreuse power bait on 11-3-17.

Ian Deleoz of San Francisco caught some trout using a kast master the stringer weighed 6.82 lbs on 11-3-17.

Yao Saelee of San Pablo caught a 28lb catfish using shrimp fishing at the boat launch on 11-3-17.

Heather Grey and employee of Rocky Mountain Rec. caught a trout using a lure fishing at the boat launch on 11-3-17. 

San Pablo Recreation area is open daily up until the 12th of November  from7:00am – 4:00 p.m.  The Reservior will reopen the 2nd of February 2018.    Boats have to be off the water at 3:00 p.m. The café is Closed for the Season.
