We worked down the beach yesterday for a little yellowtail action but by the afternoon we were running from weather. A good day of yt action today with steady angling from late morning on. We are going to give this until lunch tomorrow before beginning our trek Northward, putting ourselves in position to spend our final two days in the tuna grounds.

Working towards home

We worked up offshore in beautiful weather. Our water conditions were great and we found numerous kelps. The only thing missing were the big schools of fish. Searching

We worked up offshore finding many nice sized kelp paddies in very good water. Unfortunately most of them were empty. We did manage a couple of wahoo while we were out there. In the late afternoon we stopped at an island and caught some school size tuna and a couple of handfuls of yellowtail. We will be working up offshore tomorrow. Brian...... Read More
