Good evening anglers. Today we were supposed to wake up guns (gaffs) blazing, fish flying, and reals screaming. Right? Well, once you think that you have this Island somewhat figured out, it has the ability to humble you rather quickly. We would have loved to have another chance to put the helium balloon to the test, but the wind, fish, sharks and sea lions did everything they could to keep that from happening. We did manage to hook a handful of Tuna and land one. We had a new guest around the boat today and it was a bigun. I don't know why they just don't eat those brown fury things around us? There are plenty of them. Must like Tuna better. We did manage to catch some nice grade Yellowtail, with two of them over 40 pounds and a lot of quality Calico bass which we released. Tomorrow will be spent offshore trying to catch some more yellow fish. Until then. "The Intrepid Team"
