PG&E will be performing maintenance on the bridge over Lake Britton Dam from April 18th through September 2nd. You will have to go around on Clark Creek Rd to the north, or access Pit 3 from Big Bend in the meantime.

Meanwhile, flows on Pit 3 remain high and will for the foreseeable future overtopping the dam. Pit 4 & 5 offer some opportunities to fish, be cognizant the flows can bump unexpectedly and you must have a plan to get out. If you go, there should be fish eating the usual stuff, Amberwing Prince Nymphs, Rubberlegs, and don't forget to pack dries. There are some stoneflies hatching here and there. Caddis will def be the evening thing.

As always, the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.
