"Our weather today was a bit breezy and overcast," reported Royal Polaris September 16. "Our fishing was a little on the scratchy side, however we did manage to drop 60 quality yellowfin tuna weighing 25 to 37 pounds and 28 nice-sized dorado into the well. There was by no means any shortage of action as we released plenty of small dorado and eight to 12-pound yellowfin tuna. We are presently heading south in hopes of finding some hot yellowtail action.

"The festivities that took place last night led by Accurate charter master Gary Teraoka were second to none. There were so many gifts raffled off that each passenger walked away with multiple prizes. In addition to an Accurate T shirt and box of Lazer Trokar hooks provided by Eagle Claw. The raffle prizes consisted of Accurate and Calstar sweatshirts, Salas jigs, spectra glue and Izorline hollow spectra.

"Today's big fish winner was Peter Martil who single-handedly caught two yellowfin tuna on one hook. The first fish that came up weighed 25 pounds and was tail wrapped. Shortly after the first fish was unwrapped the second fish came up hooked in the mouth and weighed 30 pounds. So for a combined weight of 55 pounds Peter received a Calstar rod. "Both the passengers and the crew would like to thank the Accurate family and the support of all those who have donated gear to make this such a great trip."
