Hi Gang,

We returned home this morning at 0430 from our annual Hoo's Run and Gun 14 day with an exceptional catch of fish onboard. There was energy in the air with the excitement of the final weigh in of Jim Fitch's big yellowfin. The first order of business was the weigh in. Jim's fish officially weighed 392.5 pounds on the certified scale. What a great fish! I believe it is in the top 5 largest yellowfin tuna ever landed in the San Diego fleet. What an accomplishment! We are all very proud and happy for you Jim! We ended up with 11 over 200 with one of those over 300. 392.5#, 294.5#, 282.2#, 280.0#, 276.6#, 262.0#, 258.1#, 251.7#, 231.4#, 227.9#, 206.6#. Our jackpot winners are as follows: third place went to Ken Bruner with a 276.6 pound yellowfin, second place went to Sam Miyamoto with a 280.0 pound yellowfin, and first place goes to Jim Fitch with a 392.5 pound yellowfin tuna. Strong work men! Thank you to everyone that fished with us. A big thank you to our trip hosts Phil Hein and Dave Mosher for putting together such an awesome trip. We also want to thank all of the generous sponsors that provided all of the awesome giveaways. Wooden Valley Winery, Accurate Fishing, Pelican, Furuno, AFW, Five Star Fish Processing, Mustad, Flexx-Rap, Joe Fitch, Don Kammerzell, Phil and Dave. We are already looking forward to this trip next year. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
