An all day anchor job provided ample time at the rail and many opportunities. Converting those opportunities into success was no easy task as the fish are big, tough, and constantly harried by marauding 10-15 foot thugs intent upon taking their share. That said there was a lot more lazy chasing that taking today. Thank goodness. In the end we made a heck of a day of it mixing almost equal totals on 25-35 pound yellowtail and 90-120 pound yellowfin. Our final day tomorrow has plenty of promise as sign of both tuna and yellowtail is abundant. Today's image features the boys and Royal Star angler Mark Zakowski who was absolutely on fire at the rail.
