Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

We got on a school of Bluefin shortly after dark that wanted to bite really well It’s mid grade fish in the 40-55 pound range with a couple of 30 pounders mixed in. This is real deal night time flat fall and sinker rig fishing. We have been on the ropes all night. We have 50 Bluefin on deck right now, close to daily limits.
We just started out on a 3 Day trip and have 2 more days.
